Ann was in Halifax for a week so the mouse played. lol.
I travelled to Guelph on Wednesday and I played with their group. They had 34 players on six courts. Great facility and very nice folks. I really enjoyed myself. Some of their players recently started playing in Elora and some are interested in tournament play. Thanks, Guelph. I can’t wait to get back.
I then went to Niagara Falls on Thursday and I played with their group. Ernie Thomas and his crew made me feel right at home. They have a couple of noise makers (a clapper and rubber chicken). It seems the job of those with byes is to make sure they reward your extremely good shots or the worst shots you’ve ever seen, with a lot of noise … drawing attention to what you just did. And they are enthusiastic with their responsibilities. It was so funny and a lot of fun. Thank you, Niagara Falls. It was a pleasure.
