Coldwater Shuffleboard continues to play every Tue during these snowy winter months , in the auditorium of the Coldwater Municipal Arena and today they had their annual Christmas dinner. The day of Shuffleboard began at 9:00 am with three games of shuffleboard before stopping for turkey dinner with all the trimmings. President George O’Reilley welcomed everyone and thanked all the hard working ladies who cooked the turkeys and to everyone for bringing the salads the veggies and the deserts.
Beverly Fowler gave the blessing and her well chosen words had a special meaning to everyone during this festive season. President George thanked Beverly and congratulated her on winning a silver medal and for her outstanding performance at the recent International Shuffleboard Tournament in Florida.
Many of the players wore their Christmas togs as can be seen in the photo and the long friendship table was set and ready for the meal.
The Coldwater Shuffleboard club wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and hope to see you at the CNSA Tournament they will be hosting this coming summer .
