It is with much sadness that I share the news of the passing of Carl Rogerson on September 16. He is one of the finest gentlemen I have ever met. I know the whole shuffleboard community will mourn his loss and we all pass on our condolences to his wife of 70 years, Ella, and their whole family.

6/09 Remarks from Maureen Bryan written at that time: It is a sad day to inform our shuffler friends of the passing of our Past President Carl Rogerson. He passed away last evening of a massive heart attack. Our heart felt condolences go out to his wife Ella and the family. He will be dearly be missed by all the people he touched over the years through shuffleboard. May he rest in peace.
