What happened to Coldwater?
Coldwater didn’t feel they could do it anymore. They are going to take a year off and re-evaluate the situation.
Thats too bad as far as I am concerned we have had some great tournaments there and great memories with players and the people running it. George Admiral
We’re hoping to play there again next season. :-)
How do we register to play in the Goderich Tournament the end of June?
(Brenda Forbes & Brock Fraser)
Great question, Brenda and Brock. Registration is between 8:00am and 8:30am on the day of the tournament. There will be a table to purchase the $5/year annual OSA membership. Each person only needs one of these per year. There will be another table where you register for the tournament. Entry fees are $20/team. The Amateur Tournament on Day 1 is considered one tournament while the Open Tournament on Day 2 is considered a second tournament. Many amateurs play in the Open Tournament (and I’ve seen some of them win). Both tournaments will be fun and you will feel very welcome. We’re pretty relaxed and strive for a good day of shuffleboard. Goderich is a terrific venue. 🙂
