> Each year the executive of the Coldwater Shuffleboard club select an individual or a couple to be chosen for the Ken Polkinghorne memorial award. The award is presented to individuals who who show outstanding support for the club and this year the recipients were Linda and Jim Corum.
> Linda is manager of the Curling Arena and both her and husband Jim are always available and can be seen working around the Shuffleboard Club.
> President George O’Reilly is shown presenting the award at the year end banquet .
> The Coldwater Club wrapped up the summer season on Thursday with the AGM and a banquet catered by everyone’s favorite Larry Lalonde of ELM catering. Coldwater will once again be hosting a CNSA Tournament in 2017 and a banquet caterd by Larry will be part of the three day event. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Coldwater next year.

> Winter shuffleboard in Coldwater will begin on Oct 11 in the municipal arena and the first games begin at 9:00 am.
